Yes, we move boilers to a different room as part of a new installation — kitchen-to-loft and kitchen-to-utility most often. It adds cost because gas, water, condensate and flue all have to be re-run, so the price is fixed at a free survey. Budget two days.
Why moving a boiler costs more
When a boiler changes rooms, everything that feeds it has to follow: gas, water, condensate and the flue all get re-run to the new position, and the old position is made good. That is the cost — not the boiler, the routes.
Kitchen-to-loft and kitchen-to-utility moves are the ones we do most often. Both free up kitchen space; both are priced at the survey once we have seen the routes involved.
What stays the same
Everything else on this site still applies. You get the same complete-job inclusions — flue, wireless thermostat, magnetic filter, cleanse, Building Regulations notification and a registered warranty — and the same free survey and fixed written quote before anything is booked.
Timing and pricing
Budget two days for a move, the same as a conversion. Because every route is different, we do not publish a fixed price for relocations — the survey produces a written figure, and it does not move unless you change the scope.
